Urban development and investment is one of the primary operations focused by CJI in recent years.The scope of main operations include：the shanty town renovation tasks in the whole province mainly backed up by the unified earmarked funds for shanty town renovation of China Development Bank and the shanty town renovation funds of Bank of Jiangsu;the town development and real estate development operations mainly with the construction management of settlement and indemnificatory housing of the government and development of commodity houses;the environmental protection operations mainly with investment in wastewater treatment and operation management of wastewater treatment facilities;the investment and financing of various types，and operation management mainly for warehousing operation，housing，commerce，office venues，and industrial building and properties.

In recent years，CJI has closely followed the new type urbanization strategy of the state，and actively explored on business patterns with its own advantages and features.It has given full play to the role of the provincial level shanty town renovation financing platform，strengthened operation collaboration by integrating resources in the Group，established full industrial chain development pattern for investment and financing，initial period inquiry,survey and design,construction and operation management，and participated in the urban construction and construction of major projects of the government in the forms such as PPR to raise the comprehensive competition advantages，and endeavor to develop into a domestic first-rate urban construction comprehensive service provider
